Before you change DNS

Short name vs full name

Flare53 shows both because DNS providers use different wording. If your DNS provider already shows your domain zone, use the short host/name. If it asks for full name or FQDN, use the full host/name.

Most common choice
Use short host/name.
Do not do this
Do not include https:// in any DNS target.
