Flare53
FAQ

Your questions, answered simply

No jargon. If you're an SME owner who just wants a faster website, these are the answers you're looking for.

Do I need to change my website name or domain?
No. Your business website keeps the same domain. Flare53 does not rename your website. If it's example.com today, it stays example.com.
What does Flare53 need from me?
Four things: your domain, your origin (your hosting address), your email, and your chosen plan. That's the entire form — it takes about two minutes.
What is an origin?
Your origin is where your website currently lives. It can be your hosting server, a load balancer, an S3 website endpoint, or your existing hosting domain (for example origin.example.com). Flare53 fetches your pages from the origin and delivers them faster to visitors. Not sure what yours is? Ask your hosting provider "what address serves my website?"
Do I need a cloud account?
No. Flare53 handles the speed-layer setup for you. You never create or open a cloud account, and you never receive a separate cloud bill.
What DNS changes do I need to make?
Flare53 will email you the exact DNS records to copy and paste — the Type, Name, and Value. You add them at your DNS provider and save. You do not need to open any cloud console.
Will my live website break?
No. The setup is designed to be safe. We prepare everything first, and guide you on DNS changes only when it's ready. Your website keeps running normally the whole time, and every step is reversible.
Can I test before sending real visitors through it?
Yes. Flare53 gives you a safe way to test the setup before you change your live website traffic. You only point your real domain at Flare53 once you're happy.
Can Flare53 work with WordPress or WooCommerce?
Yes — as long as there is a reachable origin where Flare53 can fetch your website content. Your WordPress or WooCommerce stays on your current hosting, completely unchanged.
What happens after I subscribe?
Flare53 records your request, prepares HTTPS and your speed layer, emails you clear DNS instructions, and keeps you updated by email at every step. You can also watch progress on your Setup Status page.
Can Flare53 speed up my main website?
Yes. After setup and testing, Flare53 guides you on how to route your main website traffic through the speed layer — a simple DNS change you make when you're ready.
